Pumpkin Patch.

We made it out to the pumpkin patch this weekend. Our aim was to actually go apple picking but they were only picking golden delicious, blah... So pumpkins here we are. We went to a place over in Illinois that we went to a few years ago. It is a cool place that has fruit picking and pumpkins, a general store and a garden store. So there is lots to do. We got to take a tractor pulled wagon out to the pumpkin patch. Ellie enjoyed the ride as we were bounced around.

What a fun year this is!!! Elyse has grown into such a sweet, fun loving, happy little girl. She is also a tough one. She has become so serious in her photos though. I guess she is getting tired of me always having the camera out.

Haha.... this is actually quite scary. Thank goodness we live in an old home where the doors stick!! And yes my one year old is reaching the door knob on her own.

Bouncing Birthday Fun

Ellie finally made it to another 1st birthday party. Nate's co-worker Tracy's son Aiden turned one a few weeks after Ellie. He had a farm theme party. Ellie liked the 'hats'. I was surprised that she kept it on for a picture.

They also had a bounce house at the party. Ellie was very excited when she saw it. She had to watch the big kids jump around for a while until Tracy booted them out for the little one's and the birthday boy to get in.

On her own

Not walking...but wants to push

Little miss is not walking yet on her own. She is more than happy to push things around..the stroller, the dog food container, a chair. Anyway she can be on the move. Lord help us when she does take off on her own. She will be tough to keep up with!

Enjoying the walk and the rocks and the grass and a snack...... We have a great time walking about the neighborhood.

Football season has officially begun. Though Michigan's season will likely be a rough one we still cheer for them. Hey, we are Brown's fans as well, need I say more. Nate is excited that Ellie is a bit more into it this year. I made her this shirt from one of Nate's old T's about an hour before the Notre Dame kick off. We were off to the Hausladen's to watch the game!
