Play time fun.

We have met so many great neighbors and enjoy spending our time with them. We visit the backyard of Jen and Walker frequently. Sometimes Gershwin and Lexi join us as well.
Yesterday we were all having a great time, at Jen and Walker's, enjoying some nice 70 degree weather (woo hoo). Jen's neighbor Nathan was pushing Walker and Ellie up and down the hill in the little wagon. They both loved it and laughed the whole ride!

It's a GYMBOREE day!

I signed Ellie up for Gymboree Play and Music a few months ago, she is really enjoying it! I am just glad she has finally gotten more active walking around and climbing all over. She used to sit and play with the balls the whole time! She has really started to blossom. We were very happy that Daddy could join us today.

She also LOVES the bubbles at the end. The parachute she can give or take. Let me tell you some days she wants nothing to do with it and will cry if I try and put her on for the ride.

Lastly is the rocking horse in the lobby area. She loves it! After class she has to have a ride.

Pumpkin Carving!

This year is so much fun with Elyse. Last year she was two months old at Halloween, not very interactive and asleep for most of it! This year we went out to the pumpkin patch, which she loved, and carved our pumpkins.
Nate and I were surprised that she actually stuck her hand inside the pumpkin and pulled out 'guts'. She did it a few times and then we thing she got bored.

Gershwin seemed to enjoy the pumpkin carving as well. After I was done scraping it out he just kept licking it and even stuck his head in! We always knew he was odd.

Nate's European Adventure

Nate had a bunch of other good photos from his trip. He was gone for 10 days and visited Geneva, Milan and London. He was actually in Milan for fashion week, which meant nothing to him. I think it must have all been in another part of town, he said he saw nothing. He got delayed in NYC overnight on Saturday and finally made it back to us on Sunday around noon.

Nate's visit to Geneva

Nate had a business trip to Europe this month. He made a stop in Geneva, Switzerland to visit a friend from business school and her daughter. He enjoyed spending a few days with them. Of course he had great pictures and stories of his visit. I was not jealous at all. (HAHA)

Block Party

This past Saturday we had a block party! It was such a great time. We had a bunch of neighbors, tons of kids, beer and good food!! We already knew most of the people but did meet a few new people. The weather was perfect.

We already have a quiet street so blocking off part of the street was no problem. Our neighbor, who works for Anheuser-Busch, got out his kegerator to provide free beer for all (of age of course). He was also able to get the local BBQ restaurant to donate some food.

Wind in my hair...

Ellie enjoyed a wonderful carousel ride at the zoo the other day. When we get on she kicks the sides of the animal and says 'brrrrrrrr' and laughes and yells! I think she likes it.
