Our First Easter Together

Happy Easter!!!

Elyse celebrated her first Easter at home in St. Louis. We missed visiting with family but did enjoy the day with good friends. It was such a busy day for Elyse turning 7 months old, finding her first Easter basket, going to brunch, her friend Charlotte's baptism and having friends over for dinner.

She (with the help of Mom and Dad of course) found her Easter presents. First was her new book, which she enjoyed chewing and drooling on! While we were enjoying her big find the dogs decided to play tug-o-war with her felt Easter basket. They pulled her new bib out and hid in the bathroom tugging on the felt basket. Granted it was $1 from Target, but it is her first basket. Any of you who know our dogs, or at least Gershwin, know that Gershwin did not think of this on his own, he is not that quick! Luck for them they didn't ruin the basket.

I got her dress from a great little store in Kirkwood, Lass and Laddie. All the clothing is hand made and Ellie's dress is a one of a kind, in her size at least. I couldn't pass it up with the Eiffel Tower print on it!! I am a Paris fanatic, so it was perfect.
It was a great day!
